Aftertone is operated by Entropy Labs Ltd. The options below are available to every Aftertone user.
Delete your account in the app
- Open Aftertone and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Open Settings.
- Press Delete account.
- Review the warning and confirm the deletion when prompted.
Deleting your account is permanent. It removes your access to Aftertone and starts deletion of the account and associated data described below.
Request deletion by email
You can also email support@aftertone.io to request deletion of your entire account or only specific personal data.
Please send the request from the email address associated with your Aftertone account and tell us whether you want:
- your entire Aftertone account deleted; or
- specific data deleted, with a clear description of that data.
We may need to verify your identity before acting on the request. Do not send your password, payment card details, or other sensitive credentials by email.
Data we delete
When you delete your account, we permanently delete all data associated with it, including:
- your account profile and identifiers;
- tasks, events, projects, tags, notes, and other content stored in Aftertone;
- integration credentials and tokens used to connect services such as Google Calendar;
- preferences and other account settings;
- billing and transaction records;
- support records and communications;
- product telemetry, diagnostic records, and security logs;
- marketing preferences; and
- copies of your account data held in our backups.
If you request deletion of specific data instead of your entire account, we delete the data you identify and leave the rest of your account in place.
No account data is retained
After account deletion is complete, Aftertone retains no data associated with your account. There is no post-deletion retention period.
Deleting your Aftertone account does not automatically delete information held independently by a connected third-party service. That information is not held by Aftertone and can be managed with the relevant service provider.
